Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born March 4 1954, is a Canadian-American actress. O'Hara has won a number of awards, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In addition, she was awarded two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honored with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara became famous as an actor when she joined in 1974 of The Second City, an comedy troupe that was based in Toronto. Alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd, she was part the main ensemble of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working alongside Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara was acknowledged for her stand-up comedy and writing talents, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was part of the new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
